Sanibel Sanibel all the way!

This one has been on my list since my college days and only after ahem, 5 years? Ok ok, 10 years plus, I’ve finally arrived to Sanibel Island. Granted it was right in the middle of Covid 19 and I had to tow along a Santa sack size of sanitzer, it was worth the wait. It’s gorgeous here, white sands, turquoise waters and not only that, it’s quiet! Perfect place to finally break away after having to submit to 3 months of stay at home orders.

Tuner Beach, practically empty and all ours for the day!

Sanibel is famously known for it’s abundance of shells. It lives up to it’s reputation! After asking the girls what was their favorite part of the get away, their unanimous reply? Shell diving!!

I think we did well for Christmas ornaments this year!

And lastly, but certainly not least, the eats! If you’re into cajun cuisine, hit up Mudbugs for some catfish etouffee and almost Cafe Du Monde like beignets.

Kissing on a Crawfish!
Eh tu? Fee? With catfish!
