After your drive to Miami, head west and far south through “Gator Alley”. Make sure you take a potty break and gas before approaching the alley, because it’s a long scenic route before you see anything else.

Unfortunately we didn’t spend too much time in the Keys because we got there just when the state mandated stay at home orders and the closing of local businesses. We caught a day at Higgs Beach which really didn’t impress all that much. I’ve heard the Hemmingway house and butterfly gardens are sights to catch. Maybe next time….
